Hospice PEI’s Dancing with the Stars presented by National Bank will be held at the Murphy Community Centre, 200 Richmond Street, Charlottetown on Saturday, October 7th, 2017. Tickets are $75 each and are available by calling 902-368-4498. Reception at 7:00pm with main event taking place at 8:00pm. Black tie optional. The Summerside Atom AAA Hockey team will be holding a fundraiser BBQ at Giant Tiger Saturday October 14 from 10 am until 3pm. Money from fundraiser will go toward tournament in Oromocto NB to defend their Championship title from last season.

On Oct.20-22 the village of Victoria is doing a Christmas event! Stores will be open, new things being made for this special event. The Grand Victorian is having there facility open and people are booking tables to sell food, crafts and much more! You could see a horse drawn carriage and maybe take a ride! Come see how they make apple cider on Friday . It's a family fun day!

The O'Leary United Church, 5 Barclay Road , will host the Men of the Century on Sunday October 22 at 7 pm. These talented men showcase music of Merle Haggard, Johnnie Cash, and Ronnie Milsap . Doors open at 630 and a light lunch will be served. Tickets at the door $10.

10th Annual Halloween Hustle 5k Run & 2.5k Walk set for October 28th in Kensington. Registration on the trail by the train station from 9am-9:45am, run/walk starts at 10am. $10 each ($2 12yrs & under). This family fun event is an out and back on the trail heading west. 100% of the proceeds will create a one-time scholarship for grade 12 KISH students.
