PEI COMMUNITY THEATRE FESTIVAL 2019

The 2019 PEI Community Theatre Festival happens on Saturday afternoon, March 30th, at the Carrefour in Charlottetown. 8 short plays will run in turn -- a variety of provocative drama, cultural legends, adaptations from Homeric epic and the Tower of Babel, on-the-edge improv, and plenty of belly-laugh comedy for all ages. East Coast Art Party for the QEH

The East Coast Art Party is hosting a fun night of painting in support of the QEH/Eastlink Telethon. Create your own unique “Lupin Road” painting! SUCCESS Information Sessions

April 5, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

SUCCESS is a 30-hour, weekly employment and education program for Indigenous off-reserve youth aged 18-30. The participants spend 8 weeks in class learning life-skills (budgeting; diet and nutrition; stress management) and employability skills (resume preparation; job interview practice). Then participants spend the next 8 weeks in a work placement gaining valuable experience and developing skills. Participants receive a stipend (minimum wage) during the classroom phase and are paid minimum wage by the employers during the work placement. NCPEI reimburses employers for…

Winsloe Players presents “Who’s Who?” a three-act comedy directed by Ivan Proude and Gordon Aten. All proceeds to support the QEH/Eastlink Telethon. The play will be presented on April 10, 11, 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Carrefour Theatre, 5 Acadian Drive in Charlottetown.
