Tracadie Lions Club Pancake Brunch

Tracadie Lions Club will host their annual QEH Pancake Brunch at Tracadie Community Centre on Sunday, May 5th from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children and pre-schoolers are free. Proceeds will be donated to the QEH/Eastlink Telethon, to help purchase priority medical equipment for the QEH. SALC Ceilidh

Ceilidh at the Seniors Active Living Centre located in the Bell Centre at UPEI, Sunday, May 5 starting at 1:30 p.m. with doors opening at 1:00 p.m. Host Dino Dunsford will be joined by sing, songwriter and storyteller Eddy Quinn, along with Brian Knox and Judy Lowe. There will be a light lunch and  admission is $10 at the door with plenty of free parking near by.

Hike for Hospice

Hospice PEI invites you to join them for the Annual Hike for Hospice on Sunday, May 5th at the Shipyard Market, in Summerside, rain or shine. Registration will begin at 1:30 and the Hike will start at 2:00. There is a $20 registration fee. Community Quilt meeting

MS Society Carnations Fundraiser

Local volunteers with the MS Society of Canada will be selling carnations at various local stores on Mothers Day weekend from Thursday May 9 to Saturday May 12. This is a major fundraiser for the society, which assists patients such as the 1,000 Islanders who currently have the disease
