Lady Singers of our Century Concert

Southwest River United Church will host the Lady Singers of our Century Concert Sunday, Sept 8 starting at 7:30.   The church located at 12024, Route 6 in Margate is wheel chair accessible.  There will be the sale of water and ice cream sandwiches at intermission.    Admission is $12 at the door which opens at 7:00

Artisan exhibition: hooked cushions

Amazing Art: the hooked cushions of Barachois A stunning exhibition of 242cushions covered in hooked-rug artistry is coming to PEI. These cushions have been contributed by artisans from all over North America, even the UK and the United Arab Emirates. Walk for the Animals

The Emergency Animal Response Team is hosting their first Walk for the Animals on Saturday, September 14th at Green's Shore on the Summerside boardwalk. Everyone is welcome to bring their pets along for a fun event, including displays, BBQ, activities, prizes and of course, a walk along the shore of the bay. Participation is by donation, with funds going to EART for their disaster and emergency rescue and shelter operations here in PEI. More information on the group is at:…

West Point Volunteer Fire Departments 1st ever Western Automotive Swap

September 14, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The West Point Volunteer Fire Departments 1st ever Western Automotive Swap meet takes place Saturday, September 14th at the West Point Harbourside Center. The swap meet will begin at 8 am. . There will also be a canteen running all day serving hand cut fries! All funds from this event help the fire department purchase equipment to help serve our community and keep our firefighters safe.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
