Now that it’s Donnie and Kathy who are having difficulties\, the community is being invited to give them a helping hand. \nThe couple lost their home and all of their possessions in a recent fire that made headlines in Island newspapers. Their families and friends are therefore organizing a benefit night\, complete with a variety show and an auction\, to raise funds for them Saturday\, July 8\, at 8 p.m. at the Wellington Royal Canadian Legion. \n
